Youth held for questioning in girl's death

Theodore Carter, 18, (right) of Millville, N.J. accompanied by Sgt. Harold Sherwood is shown as he was booked in Bridgeport, Connecticut shortly after being taken into custody yesterday. The youth is wanted for questioning in the strangle-murder of pretty Lorraine Hess, 17, a high school junior who was found slain in Millville on May 13 after she had attended a high school play. Carter was picked up at a transient home at the request of New Jersey authorities.
