Young Immigrants For New Jewish State--These youngsters were among group of 300 Jewish immigrants who landed at Haifa, Israel, May 15--first group to reach the newly-proclaimed state. The immigrants, traveling under British visas, arrived from Genoa, Italy, aboard the 6,000-ton ship Argentina. They reached Haifa as the British mandate expired and were given entry permits by the new Jewish state.
