You Can See How It Hurts. The Edinburgh Dental Hospital and School, Scotland, is carrying on research by cathode ray oscillograph into the detection of strain in dentures. When the patient bites down, any signs of strain on the denture show up on a screen. A camera can be attached to the oscillograph for detailed study. Picture shows: Signs of strain seem to show up on the patient's face as much as on the screen as he bites down on his new denture connected to the oscillograph by wire. Anyone who has been plagued by ill-fitting dentures can sympathize.
