Ushers, worshipers and a priest assisted Msgr. James E. Kelly, 76, to his feet after he was knocked to the floor during a demonstration by 40 protesters in the church Sunday (9/22). Police held one of the demonstrators, who were protesting against the church's position on the Vietnam war and civil rights.
