Uncle held in fatal blaze

Philadelphia-David Thomas, 17 (left in left photo), is led into police station by Detective Edward Rock for questioning in connection with fire in which two of Thomas' nephews and a niece died. Youngsters (left to right in right photo) are: Joseph, 8; Patrick, 5; and Priscillia, 4; children of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Gayton. According to Detective Capt. Millard T. Meers, Thomas said he set fire to house when he "became enraged" at not being able to find a pair of dungarees for which he was searching.
