Suspect in rape, slugging

Thomas Eggelston, a 22-year-old beauty college student, was being held under $25,000 bond today after sheriff's department officials said he made a signed admission of raping and pistol whipping two 18-year-old girls and forcing another couple into the trunk of their car at gunpoint early today. Eggelston is shown with State Police Det. Truman Bierie, Lt. Harry Monn, Sgt. Arnold Lord and Sheriff Frank Nagel. Monn and Lord are also with the Sheriff's Dept.
