Opposite the fountain we see the facade of the church, with shops on either side. In the foreground are carts, drawn by mules and oxen. On the left a man digs; a priest stands on the right near a rock, above which a massive pilaster rises, with a Corinthian capital. Before the man digging, near the left lower corner. A large white patch on front of second house to right of the church. The ox-cart towards the right is open at the back; there are no spokes on either wheel. Between the cart and the priest two men are talking to a woman.
