An allegorical figure of a young winged woman adorns the tomb of Stendhal with flowers. She is standing, turned to the left, and naked to the hips. She has a garland in both hands and places it on the pediment of the monument. On the base of the tomb, there is an inscription written in three lines - "Stendhal, Milanese, He lived, he wrote, he loved." There is dark foliage in the background.
