This German Hospital Goes Where It’s Needed--Here is a case where the hospital comes to the patient, reversing the usual order of things. These are pictures of a portable hospital, put in use by the German Red Cross at Lodz, in what formerly was Poland. Thirty-two light metal barracks buildings, plus hospital equipment, are carried on 16 trucks, drawn by eight tractors, and whole unit--according to German censor-approved caption, can be set up within a few hours.
