They Came to See the Series--This was the scene in the Los Angeles Coliseum today as fans filled the mammoth stadium for a look at the third game of the 1959 World Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Chicago White Sox.

New York - No Fun For Commuters - Struggling along in the teeth of New York City's worst storm in seven years, commuters head for subway entrance at Main Street and Roosevelt Avenue in Flushing this morning. Many of them had to walk to the subway with private autos snowbound and buses moving only a main thoroughfares. Many city workers were hours late to their jobs or weren't able to make it at all.
