These Are the Thatcher Ferry Bridge Canal Zone stamps with the bridge missing, owned by a Boston stamp dealer, Henry E. Harris. The Federal District Court recently ruled the government had no right to reprint thousands of these errors as it had done with the inverted Dag Hammarskjold stamps. Harris purchased ops in 1962. Value is estimated from $100,000 to $500,000. Error was attributed to a color printing failure. Correctly printed stamp with bridge is at top.
