William r. Payne (left), of Bethesda, Md., and john r. Polk, of Arlington, are shown after their arrest today in connection with the abduction and rape of Mrs. Nancy Hotchkiss, a bride of ten days. Mrs. Hotchkiss, found on the porch of the home of an Arlington police lieutenant, told police that two men had removed a window screen from an apartment window, held her husband, James, at bay and forced her to go out through the window. she was taken to great falls, Md., about ten miles away, and raped. police said Polk confessed the crime and implicated Payne. Mrs. Hotchkiss is the former Nancy McCoy, of Winnetka, ill., and a smith college graduate.
