Miss Nancy Bernard, a 20-year-old blond from Lubbock, Texas, hugs a large bouquet of cotton as the Texas beauty was chosen Maid of Cotton for 1966. Miss Bernard will embark on a tour to promote cotton which will take her to 33 major cities in the United States, to Canada and major leading fashion centers in Europe. She will make her first appearance at the Cotton Bowl New Years Day in Dallas.
