Clifton Cockerham, 29, is shown (photo at left) being led down the stairway of the building at 65 East End Avenue after he allegedly killed his wife, Doris, 25, and stabbed his mother-in-law, Mrs. Ida H. Bruns, tonight. Mrs. Cockerham, a bride of nine months who was expecting a baby in four months, is shown in photo at right. Police reportedly broke in on Cockerham as he leaned over his wife's body muttering "You're so beautiful. I'm sorry I killed you."
