Tracy, Minn. – Frightening Splendor – A tornado funnel churns over the countryside after leaving nine persons dead, 100 injured and extensive property damage at Tracy, Minn. last Thursday. The destructive twister was photographed by Eric Lantz, 16, who works for his father, publisher of the Walnut Grove Tribune, a weekly newspaper. A few minutes later, the funnel disintegrated and the storm was over. The picture came to light today after Lentz’ film had been developed for the Tribune. Weather Tornado.
