Mrs. Ruth Brougher, today's final witness before the Senate Rackets Committee as she told the probers that she bought and sold jewelry in Miami. This was after Thomas L. Douglass, a Hyannis, Mass., and Miami jeweler and B.B. Bowers, Jr., a Miami real estate man told of seeing large quantities or jewels and jewelry in the Miami home Mrs. Brougher shared with Robert (Barney) Baker, teamster organizer. Mrs. Brougher is presently serving a 15-year term for manslaughter in Florida and was brought to the hearings under guard.
