Leslie Rosean, 7, is comforted by her sister, Jill, 17, after a three-hour operation for a major bone graft at Marin General Hospital at Greenbrae, Calif., yesterday. Bones from the hip of Jill were grafted to the scapula of Leslie's left arm to make whole a bone crippled by a benign tumor. Dr. William L. Clark who performed the operation said it was a success and was the first time in his experience that such a major bone graft had been attempted. Jill is still limping from the removal of the bone from her hip, but was happy over a side benefit of the operation. "I've lost eight pounds," she said.
