A repetition of Beak Street (Dodgson number 194), in the same direction. The subject is not arched at the top, and picturesqueness is sacrificed to accuracy by the omission of the Gothic spire. The building against which the ladder rests is drawn in outline, and the shading of the foreground extends only 1/4 in. below the foot of the ladder.
