Twister at Work--This ominous funnel-shaped spout is the tornado which ripped through the temperance and Erie, Mich., area yesterday leaving four persons dead and numerous injured in its wake. The photo was made by John Burdo, an amateur cameraman who was working on his boat at Point Place. On sighting the funnel Burdo dropped his tools, grabbed his camera, made three quick shots, and by that time the whirling spout had disappeared.1
