Twin Water Spouts performed for about 15 minutes about one mile off shore early (8/23) before leaving in a southerly direction. The weather bureau described a water spout as a tornado over water smaller then land formed tornados and not lasting as long. The funnel suck up water in a column which falls quickly once it touches land.
