Titusville, Fla. -- Aldean "Dee" White mans the control tower at Titusville's Ti-Co airport, and according to the Federal Aviation Administration she is the only female to head an air traffic control operation in the United States. Miss White, 30, is probably the only air traffic control chief in the nation who has heard a pilot ask: "Little flower in the tower, what's the runway of the hour?"
