Torrential Rains today made wide rivers out of Boston streets such as Charles St. at left. However, nothing could deter the loyal Red Sox fans (right photo) who waited at Fenway Park for today's game with the Yankees. It was later postponed. They are George Christensen, Charlie O'Brien, both of Weymouth, Dan Tintindo of East Boston and Ralph Lucci of Everett. The Boston Weather Bureau said 2.08 inches of rain fell in the area.
