Tornado-Tossed Plank Pierces Tabernacle-- A plank whisked through the air by a tornado late Saturday shattered a window in the sacristy of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, flew across the room and neatly pierced the door of the tabernacle that holds the Holy Sacrament. Pointing to the pierced door is Claude Gammon, custodian at the church that suffered only minor damage. The Presbyterian Church next door was lifted up and dumped on top of a lumber yard building.
