The inventors and manufacturers, Coleman and Lamprecht, with their clever new pancake-making machine. The batter is in the can at right. Every 10 seconds, enough batter for a cake is squirted on to the round revolving pan, which is heated by electricity. When the cake has gone half way around, the automatic turner, at left, flips it over, and by the time it has gone all the way around it is cooked and another turner flips the finished product off the turn-table-stove. The machine turns 'em out at the rate of 380 an hour, and it is called ideal for army and navy purposes and for large hotels and restaurants.
