Students at New York's United Nations School read quietly in the school's library. The United Nations School, called an experiment in education when it first opened its door, in 1947, is now so successful that $14 million has been donated by various nations and foundations to build larger, ultra-modern quarters on Manhattan's East Side. The new school building will be capable of handling 1500 children.
