Odessa, Tex.--Mack Herring, 17, right, an Odessa, Tex., high school student, talks with Winkler County Sheriff L.B. Eddins of Kermit, Tex., after Herring led officers to the watery grave of Elizabeth Jean Williams, Herring's classmate. Herring admitted to officers and newsmen that he shot the girl after she asked to be killed. No charges have been filed. The body of the girl was recovered from a stock pond about 23 miles north of Odessa.
