Tells of shooting

Mrs. Lola Freels, a former secretary-bookkeeper for the Knoxville teamsters local, identifies a bookkeeping statement as she testifies today before the Senate Rackets Investigating Committee. At one point in her testimony, Mrs. Freels recounted that W.A. Smith, known as "Hard Hearing Smitty," had been wounded accidentally while shooting at truckers. She told the senators that Smith had been brought to Knoxville for shootings.
