Trunk murder victim

Los Angeles, Cal. The victim of the recent trunk murder in Los Angeles was identified today as Mrs. Margaret Theresa Kelley (above), 39. Solution was announced by police who said a 44-year-old painter and ex-musician had admitted strangling the woman, his wife. Detectives identified the man as John Kelley and said he told them he choked his wife to death during a fight over another woman. Police said the murder occurred Saturday, Oct. 13, after the couple had sent their two sons, John, 10, and Richard, 7, to a movie.
