Token Picket Force. A token picketing force of five men were on duty at one of the gates of the strike closed Hayward-Schuster Woolen Mills at East Douglas, Mass., February 26th. The few pickets who patrolled the entrances of the mill had virtually nothing to do as both management and employees refused to yield to demands. Winfield Schuster, company president, closed the mills and said he wouldn't open during the strike. Both sides expect to confer at the State House with Massachusetts Labor Commissioner John J. Delmonte Wednesday.
