Toast to Peace--Shigeru Yoshida joins with Dean Acheson and Joseph Dodge, left, former aide to President Eisenhower, in a toast today to the signing of the peace treaty between Japan and the United States 10 years ago-- April 28, 1952. Yoshida was prime minister of Japan and Acheson was Secretary of State at the time of the signing. Both Dodge and Acheson are wearing emblems of the First Order of the Rising Sun, presented to them earlier in an embassy ceremony.
