Strike's On - They Put Away the Spools. Workers in the Thread, Inc. mill at Gastonia, N. C. put away the spools after pickets persuade them to close down the mill. Several small mills were closed in this area by roving bands of pickets who went from one to another to persuade the workers to come out.
