Strike Boston Newspapers. Members of the Mailers Union as they picketed in front of the Boston Herald Traveler building in Boston today (March 6). The Mailers Union International Typographical Union, voted earlier to strike against the Boston Newspapers to enforce their demand for a cash raise in a new contract instead of a health-welfare and pension plan.
