Sixteen year old Thomas Talbot, just before he was shot to death by a Baltimore County policeman. Talbot, according to his his brother, had been sniffing glue, grabbed a shotgun and threatened to kill his brother. Talbot held police at bay before running out to the yard. As he swung the shotgun towards a police officer, the one here, another, out of the picture fired. Talbot died a short time later.

Jail News Conference - The Rev. Ralph Abernathy, jailed leader of the Poor People's Campaign, talks with newsmen today at the District of Columbia jail where he is serving a 20-day sentence. The barred window's of the jail's rotunda are behind him. Abernathy, leader of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, announced that he was going on a fast and pledged the nation would see more "Resurrection Cities."
