Memphis, Tenn., Feb. 26--It was tears of joy in criminal court today as Eugene D. Haas (center), his father Ervin (left) and Haas' attorney, L.E. Gwinn, congratulate each other on the innocent verdict in the young sailor's murder trial. Haas, 26, Frazee, Minn., was charged with the killing of his sickly wife Myrtle, 30, Portsmouth, R.I. The all-male jury deliberated 13 hours after a three week trial.
