Storm Lashing Coast Spreads Damage. The wreckage strewn waterfront at Norfolk, Virginia, during the 64-mile nor'easter which whirled up the Atlantic Coast from Florida March 6, and left in its wake extensive damage on land and sea. The storm, full of rain, sleet and snow, tore down communication lines in several states and gave New York City one of the sharpest bits of weather experienced this season.
