Three Little, Two Little, One Little--Three little girls, delighted by the opportunity to wade through flood waters on the way home from school, edge past a brick building in ankle deep water in the top photo. In the center, one girl leans against the building, her boots full of water, while another girl cautiously makes her way toward the corner. At the bottom, the first girl plods on alone through knee deep water, deserted by her companions who turned back. These photos were taken on Wheeling Island, where the Ohio River spilled out of its embankments.
