A view of the old town (Staden) from across the harbour on the south side (Soder Malm) with 2 church spires, those of the Tyska Kyrkan (left) and Riddatholms Kyrkan, rising into the sky, and the new town-hall (Stadshus) on the right. There is a shadow on the ground to the left of the house. The smoke from the chimney on the left is once more long, as in first state.
