Spray is Thrown high in the air as waves batter Galveston, Tex., seawall. High tides from Hurricane Carla lashed seawall and pleasure pier. Winds of severe intensity also resulted from Carla's passage, and extremely heavy rain also was expected--up to 15 inches possibly.
