Spent Three Years in Russian Prison -- Pvt. Stephen P. Abney, 26, who spent three years in a Russian labor prison, tells a news conference in San Francisco Friday of appalling conditions during his incarceration. He was convicted in a Russian court of smuggling hashish into the country. During his term in prison Abney was declared AWOL by the U.S. Army. Beside him is his attorney, Richard P. Fox of Los Angeles.
