At the back and in front view, Erda stands up. She is supporting a long drapery with her right arm; her left arm is raised and her eyes are looking toward the sky. Wotan, in the foreground on the right, wears a traveler's hat on his head and a big coat on his shoulders. Holding a spear in his hand, he turns away and flees under his curse.
