She'll Sit by the President Seven-year-old Ann Smither, infantile paralysis patient from Frankfort, Ky., thinks she's the luckiest girl in the world. In the drawing or straws to determine who would sit beside President Roosevelt during the annual Thanksgiving dinner at the Warm Springs Foundation in Georgia, Ann drew the right straw.
