Maria Santina Foglia, one of 6-year-old Siamese twins, lies in hospital bed in Turin, Italy, today, after surgeons completed 2 1/2-hour operation to separate her from her sister, Giuseppina. The girls, described by attending physicians as "full of expectation," had been joined at the spine.
