Seminick's "Sprained Ankle" Now Called Bone Separation- Andy Seminick, Philadelphia Phillies catcher who played the final week of the season and all four games of the World Series with a bone separation in his left ankle, gets cast on his left autographed by his 4-year old son, Andy, Jr. Cast, which Andy must wear for a month, was placed on his leg when doctors disclosed that what was first thought to be sprained ankle was actually a bone separation. The Phillies team trainer dosed ankle with novocaine before each Series game.
