The sower goes towards the right and throws the seed with this left hand; at left in the center, dead tree trunks; at right, two horses harnessed to a plough; background of hilly landscape, with steeple, crags, bushed, houses; signed at bottom of the plate in the center "A. Legros". Two lines in the height divide the composition and indicate what should be cut off.
