Seeks reduction of murder charge

Post debutante Suzanne Clift, 21, looks down at prayer book in her hand as she boarded an elevator at Suffolk Superior Court today in Boston for hearing. Miss Clift has appealed to the court for reduction of a murder charge so she could plead guilty to manslaughter. She is charged with the shooting death of Piero Brentani, 27, an electronics engineer and member of an old Trieste family now living in Zurich, Switzerland. Suzanne said she expects to bear Brentani's child in about four months.
