A section of the fishermens city built on the ice of Lake Winnipesaukee at Meredith. The fishermen spend their spare time in these houses fishing until the spring weather warms the ice to make it unsafe for holding them up. The houses are then removed to the lakes banks where they are stored away until next winter. It is estimated that the surface of the lake now has over a thousand of these little houses on it, and the fishermen report good catches.
