Secret Document Released--This reproduction of a photostat of a confidential note from Counselor Hershel V. Johnson from London on February 16, 1938 to the secretary of state, was released by the House Un-American Activities committee as one of the documents produced for its red spy probe by Whittaker Chambers, confessed former soviet agent. Chambers has told the committee the document was stolen from state department files.
