Sea Drama Near Brighton: Sussex: Crew Hauled to Top of Cliff One of the most dramatic incidents of last night's storm was the saving of 30 of the crew of the Italian steamer "Nimbo" which was driven ashore at Portobello between Brighton and Newhaven. An emergency rocket apparatus was sent to Newhaven in a motor-lorry and at 5 am the first line was fired and members of the crew slowly hauled up to the top of the cliff.
