Resigned beauty queen and replacement

Suzanna Eaton, left, shown with runner-up Sue Burgess after winning the Miss Britain contest July 1 in London, has resigned her beauty crown. Miss Burgess will represent Britain at the International Beauty Pageant in Long Beach, Calif. Miss Easton, a ban-the-bomb marcher, said after resigning her crown: "I'd rather go to Russia as a nuclear disarmament supporter than to America as a beauty queen.
