Released from Viet Cong captivity

Ophelia Gaza, a Filipina who was released in South Vietnam from Viet Cong captivity, rests today in a provincial hospital at Xuan Loc, 40 miles northeast of Saigon. The Viet Cong released her, with two captive Americans, but her husband, Vincente, died a week ago while still in captivity. Gaza was employed by Air America, a contract airline. The two Americans told a news conference at Long Binh today that during their seven months in captivity they got bad food, were not mistreated and were given a Christmas party. They are Thomas R. Seales, Matameras, Pa., and Robert W. Monahan, Bellport, Long Island.
